AlbertaWe are unique in that we are represented by two separate groups under the Peri-Anesthesia Nurses of Alberta Northern and Southern Chapters. This was done quite a few years ago due to the fact that the groups members were focused around Edmonton and Calgary. Please contact with any questions about PANA-NAC you may have. Please join us! Feb.22, 2008- PANBC executive is experiencing great difficulties sustaining the organization, and for this reason, we, the executive, need to announce that PANBC will be dissolving, effective immediately. Laurel Magri will continue to be the contact person for PANBC up to and including the National Conference in May, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Please see above for contact information I would encourage all British Columbia PeriAnesthesia Nurses to stay connected with NAPAN, our National Association, once the dissolution process is finalized. One way to remain affiliated would be to connect with our neighboring province. Lynn Buchannan is the president of Alberta South Chapter (PANASAC) and Ruth Sutton is the president of the Alberta North Chapter Both Lynn and Ruth would be happy to hear from any British Columbia PeriAnesthesia nurses who may be interested. Also, in addition, for anyone who may be interested in possibly starting up PANBC, in the upcoming year, to bring the province back into association status, please contact the current president of NAPAN(C), Laura Van Loon Newfoundland Linda Sullivan Yukon and NWT representatives is the Yukon contact .
